Each SMART Team Registration includes one t-shirt and one lunch. Please be sure to register every student and/or coordinator on your team.

SMART Team Symposium

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
Time: 9am - 2pm
Location: St. Vrain Valley Schools Innovation Center, 33 Quail Rd, Longmont, CO 80501
Registration Fee: $25 per participant (includes a box lunch and symposium t-shirt)

Please note, teams are responsible for securing their own travel and room arrangements.  

SMART Teams should plan to arrive on Thursday or Friday, with the main symposium scheduled for Saturday, March 28.

The event will include:

  • An opening address from Superintendent Dr. Jackie Kapushion
  • A poster session featuring all participating SMART Teams
  • Lunch (included with registration)
  • A keynote address from a local scientist or researcher
  • A swap meet where teams can exchange swag

Local families, scientists, science teachers, and community members are also invited to attend the poster session.

Registration details:

  • Fee: $25 per participant (includes a box lunch and symposium t-shirt)
  • Each team is responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

We will be ordering in Jimmy Johns Catering for lunch. Please ensure you register all participants who will need a lunch, as the meal is included in the registration feed.
